For Monday night's reception, we're very pleased to have entertainment provided by local Austin singer/songwriter Erin Ivey.
Erin's music is a unique blend of urban folk that has been described as "sweetness matched with projected power" by Austin Sound. Ivey is an up-and-coming artist who has been called "A songwriter of the first order, with jazz-inflected vocals and seductive melodies" by the Daily News.
Ivey's album Broken Gold was named one of the Austin Chronicle's "Top 10 Albums of the Year," and it was named the best album of the year by KUT radio. Find out more at erinivey.com.
After the reception, we'll provide shuttle rides to downtown Austin's unforgettable Kung Fu Saloon
Kung Fu Saloon is an Austin gem located in the heart of the very popular 6th Street nightlife scene. The decor is unsurpassed (it's built from reclaimed brick and barn wood), and the atmosphere can be described in one word: Fun!
The saloon is home to 14 vintage arcade games, Skee Ball machines, novelty board games and more! Not to mention its fully stocked bar with more than 20 beers on tap.
Special for Hero Conf attendees, we'll be providing 2 free drink tickets and the arcade will be free until 9! No need to bum rush the Skee Ball machines, though--they're always free.
Chief among the entertainment options is a night of laughs with acclaimed comedian Rory Scovel!
Rory has been featured on Comedy Central, Conan, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He recently shot a pilot for TBS, and SanDiego.com trumpeted that Scovel is a comedian "you'd probably want to have a road trip with."
Seats are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis, so reserve your ticket in advance!

Tuesday night, we're also providing a shuttle to Austin's SoCo district, where all of the city's best food trucks, restaurants and nightlife await!
Those with a sweet tooth won't want to pass up the legendary "Hey Cupcake," a fully stocked cupcake truck, but beyond that, there's a truck or a restaurant for any and every type of food you could imagine, so you're sure to be satisfied.
After you visit SoCo, you can also take the shuttle to a stop on East 6th Street, where Austin's live music and even more nightlife are waiting to be explored!
If nightlife isn't really your thing, we've also arranged for a ghost tour hosted by local spook aficionados from Austin Ghost Tours!
Austin Ghost Tours has been listed among the "Top Ten Ghost Tours" in the country, and their expert and entertaining guides will take you on a walking tour through the most historic (and ghost-inhabited) parts of Austin, including the Capitol District and the infamously haunted Driskill Hotel!
